Step: 1
Using the included screwdriver, remove the single screws from the battery compartment cover. Remove the cover. You should be able to see the battery, but not have access to it. |

Step: 2
Using the included flat-head screwdriver, remove the four screws from the back of the case. The back of the case can be easily lifted from the PDA. You should now have access to the battery. |

Step: 3
Disconnect the power cable connector by gently pulling on the power cable. The connector should pull free allowing you to remove the battery from the Clie.
Insert the new battery by lining up the connector with the socket, pushing it in. Apply the new battery within guide brackets. Please pay attention to have original orientation (connector towards the top of the Clie)
Snap on the battery compartment cover and put back four screws. Attach the battery compartment cover and put back screws.
Your new battery will need a minimum of three hours of charging before first use.
