Batteries World
For Palm Tungsten T
Step: 1

Before beginning battery installation, please be sure to remove the stylus and memory card from your Tungsten T PDA.
Step: 2

Using the included screwdriver, remove the four screws from the bottom portion of the PDA (the piece that slides).
Step: 3

With the screws removed, pull out on the plastic tabs (where the screw were removed) while lifting and pulling on the bottom section. The bottom section of the Tungsten T should be separated into two halves.
Step: 4

The sliding cover is connected by two slide tracks. Unscrew the clear pointer end of the included stylus to reveal a metal stem. To remove the sliding cover, push an end of the metal stem into one of the two guide holes while pulling the sliding cover towards the bottom of the PDA. Do the same with other hole and the sliding cover should come loose. The slide cover should still be connected by a ribbon cable.
Step: 5

Remove the two screw from the top of the PDA using the including screw driver.
Step: 6

Remove the two screw from the inside section of the PDA using the screwdriver. Once these screw are removed a metal screw nut should fall from the front of the PDA. Set this piece aside, it will be needed during re-assembly.
Step: 7

Carefully disconnect the ribbon cable from the back of the PDA using your finger or the included flat-head screwdriver. The ribbon cable will still be attached to the back of the case by glue.
Step: 8

Begin to pry the top section of the PDA using the included flat-head screw driver. Once the section is free is should still be attached by the ribbon cable and the battery power cable. Simply flip flip the case cover over giving you access to the battery.
Step: 9

The battery is attached to the case by a small amount of the glue. Use your finger or the included flat head screwdriver to remove the battery from the case. The battery will still be connected to the motherboard by its power cable.
Step: 10

Remove the battery connector from its socket by gently pulling upwards on the battery connector. The battery can now be removed from the PDA. Please pay attention to have the original orientation (power cable towards the top of the PDA). Connect the power cable of the new battery by positioning it over the socket on the motherboard, pushing it in. Reapply the battery within its original glue spots.
Step: 11

Snap on the cover and reattach the ribbon cable to its connect. Put back the two screws at the top of the PDA. Put back the two screw on the inside section of the PDA by positioning the metal screw nut over the two holes on the front of the PDA. The screw should screw into the metal screw nut, attaching it to the PDA.

Reapply the sliding cover to the slide tracks (the stylus is not needed) and snap the bottom section of the case back together. Put back the four screw. There should be a total of eight screw throughout installation.

Your new battery will need a minimum of three hours of charging before first use.
