Step: 1
Using the included "Y" head screwdriver, remove the single screws from the battery compartment cover. Remove the cover. |

Step: 2
Gently pull on battery removal tape to aid in sliding battery out of the unit. Battery will still be attached to the unit by the power cable. |

Step: 3
Disconnect the power cable connector by gently pulling on the power cable. The connector should pull free allowing you to remove the battery from the Clie.
Insert the new battery by lining up the connector with the socket. Push it in with the tip of the included screwdriver. Slide the new battery within the battery compartment. Please pay attention to the original battery orientation (connector on same side as power cable).
Snap on the battery compartment cover and put back the screws.
Your new battery will need a minimum of three hours of charging before first use. |
