Step: 1
Using the included screwdriver, remove the single screws from the battery compartment cover. Remove the cover. |

Step: 2
Gently pull on battery remove tape to aid in sliding battery out of the unit. Battery will still be attached to unit by the power cable. |

Step: 3
Disconnect the power cable connector by gently pulling on the power cable. The connector should pull free allowing you to remove the battery from the Clie.
Insert the new battery by lining up the connector with the socket, pushing it in with the tip of included screwdriver. Slide the new battery within the tip of the battery compartment. Please pay attention to the original orientation (connector on same side as power cable.
Snap on the battery compartment cover and put back the screw.
Your new battery will need a minimum of three hours of charging before first use. |
