Step: 1
Using a screwdriver, remove the single screws from the battery compartment. |

Step: 2
Once the battery compartment cover is removed, lift the battery from its compartment by pulling on the grey fabric pull-tab. The battery should still be connected by its power cord. |

Step: 3
Using your finger, carefully pull on the battery power cable to remove it from its socket. The battery should now be free of the PDA. |

Step: 4
To insert the new battery, line-up the power cable connector with the power socket. Use the tip of a screwdriver to push the connector into the socket. Apply the new battery with the battery compartment. Please pay attention to have the original orientation (connector towards the top of the Clie).
Snap on the battery compartment cover and put back the single screws,
Your new battery will need a minimum of three hours of charging before first use. |
