Step: 1
Using the included screwdriver remove the four screw from the case. |

Step: 2
Using the tip of the screwdriver, pry open the case starting with open of the bottom corners of the PDA, the back of the case should easily unsnap from the PDA. |

Step: 3
With the back cover removed, we now have easy to the battery. Using the tip of the screwdriver, carefully unglue the battery from its compartment. Warning... the glue can be very adhesive making it difficult to separate the battery from the case, so please use caution. The battery should still be attached by its ribbon cable. |

Step: 4
To detach the ribbon cable, gently pull on the cable with your fingers. The cable should easily unplug from the motherboard. Please pay attention to have the original orientation (power cable of towards the top on the PDA). Connect the power cable of the new battery by positioning it over the socket on the motherboard, pushing it in. Apply the new battery to the original glue spots within the battery compartment. Snap on the cover and put back the single screw. Your new battery will need a minimum of three hours of charging before first use. |
