Step: 1
Using the included wrench remove the four screws from case. |

Step: 2
Using the included flat head screwdriver pry open the IPAQ case starting at the bottom. |

Step: 3
Continue prying the case towards the corners until the full length of the case pops open. |

Step: 4
Disconnect the connector by gently pulling on the ribbon cable. |

Step: 5
Using the flat head screwdriver unglue the old battery from the case cover. Apply the new battery on the case within the guide brackets. The battery should stick to the original glue spots. Please pay attention to have the original orientation (connector towards the bottom of the IPAQ PDA). Connect the ribbon cable by positioning it over socket on the motherboard, pushing it in. Snap on the cover and put back the single screw. Your new battery will need a minimum of three hours of charging before first use. |
